Paul Billingham

Paul is the National Managing Partner Growth Advisory at Grant Thornton. In this role he leads a large and diverse team of partners and professionals providing performance improvement, leadership consulting, strategic advice, restructuring and risk consulting services. 

Paul is co-owner of the Bavaria 41s Defiant and is a keen supporter of short form offshore and harbour racing – racing Defiant in Shorthaul, Winter Series and Twilight series. 

With 11 years of CYCA Board service to date, Paul is the longest serving current member of the Board, having been appointed as Treasurer in 2006, Rear Commodore in 2014 and Vice Commodore in 2016. 

Paul is also Chairman of the Grant Thornton Foundation and a Director of the CYCA Safety of Life at Sea Trusts.  He is presently focussed on developing the Club’s long term strategy; driving the redevelopment of the Club house and Annex and the expansion of the CYCA’s youth sailing program.
