This Sunday 4 November, the Marine Safety Equipment and Demonstration Day will be conducted at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia from 9.30am. The day is designed to showcase the latest techniques and information about rescue at sea.

This Sunday 4 November, the Marine Safety Equipment and Demonstration Day will be conducted at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia from 9.30am. The day is designed to showcase the latest techniques and information about rescue at sea.
The main feature of the day will be Helicopter Rescue. NSW Ambulance Rescue Helicopter will have one of its helicopters on display in Rushcutters Bay Park. They will outline the new techniques and equipment being used in helicopter rescue - including life rafts supplied by AMSA.
In water demonstrations will commence in the pond at 9.30am where safety equipment such as inflatable PFDs, harnesses, life rafts and new rescue gear will be demonstrated.
Presentations from rescue organisations including AMSA, NSW Marine Rescue, NSW Ambulance Rescue Helicopter and NSW Water Police will commence at 10.30am. These presentations will address how rescues are coordinated and conducted.
There will be dsiplays from leading marine equipment suppliers.
Vessels from NSW Water Police and NSW Marine Rescue will be on
display in the pond.
A raffle for the CYCA SOLAS Trusts will also be conducted on the
day with some great prizes from our exhibitors.
This day is FREE and open to all. Bring the whole crew
