On behalf of the site redevelopment committee I am pleased to report the hardstand has now been completed. Our contractors have removed themselves from the property, except for some minor equipment which is expected to be removed by the end of this week.

Power to the new hardstand area will be cut over tomorrow and the installation of the fire hoses and sanivac completed during the week.

Members will notice the first delivery of new lockers have arrived. The final delivery is expected early next week. Members who have an existing locker agreement will be written to this week letting them know the date they can begin to utilise their new locker.

Boats and equipment being stored at Woolwich dock will be returned to the CYCA tomorrow (Tuesday).

The Jib and YSA davit crane will be commissioned on Wednesday for operations to commence on Thursday 7 November.

We expect stage 1 of the installation of floating pontoons to commence next week with the 2nd stage being installed before the end of November.

The deck extension is due to commence towards the end of this week or early next week.

As the hardstand will become operational from this week, this will be my final weekly update to members. I hope you have enjoyed the regular updates and time lapse images of the redevelopment.

I would like to thank the site redevelopment committee for delivery the project and look forward to announcing the next stage of the club redevelopment program to members when finalised.
