The annual CYCA 20 Years Plus Members Evening was filled with sailing tales of celebration

CYCA Members were treated to sailing yarns and tall tales of their many hours at sea as David Champtaloup guided guests through a time loop of memories.

The evening was opened by CYCA Commodore, John Cameron who welcomed existing 20 year plus members, new 20 year members, past Commodores, current Board of Directors, 50 year members and Life Members.

Jeanette York was the toast of the evening after being awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) earlier in the week.

The evening reflected on past members and their contributions to the CYCA and the sport of sailing.

Lindsay May joined Champtaloup on stage for further discussion on the 1983 Admirals Cup and how technology is changing the face of sailing navigation.

As the evening concluded, more memories came to fruition with guests all sharing one common factor that with link them forever - sailing at the CYCA.
