As we move into our busiest and most exciting time of the year, there is much work to be done in and around the Club and with our race finishing partners in Hobart.

Work is well underway on the Rolex Sydney Hobart Villages both here and in Hobart. The Villages will provide an onshore experience that will ensure that even if you’re not in the race, you have the opportunity to join in the atmosphere and excitement of this iconic event. 

Along with our busy media and information centres, Musto Clothing will be joined by the Sundowner Bar, the ideal venue for afternoon drinks and there are corporate hospitality and catering packages on offer in the lead up to the race start running through until Boxing Day.

More details will be released over the coming week.

The team and I are working with the many and varied volunteers who are tireless in their efforts for the big race, and the operations of the Club in general.  I have been very impressed with the dedication and commitment of the members, we could not run this race or this place without you.

The work on the YSA Building is nearing completion and our Operations team is working hard to have the Club premises spick and span. There is more work to be done on our entry way, and in the new year, there will be some exciting opportunities to discuss plans for the redevelopment of the Club premises.

Again, as I am still getting to know you, please introduce yourself to me if our paths cross around the Club, as I’m sure they will throughout the Summer.

Spirit of Cruising

The CYCA Cruising Committee would like to extend an invitation to the next 'Spirit of Cruising' evening to further plan a Rendezvous Cruise to Lake Macquarie in January.
