The 2018 CYCA Winter Series is fast approaching with entries open from Friday, 2 March. The 2018 CYCA Winter Series will include ten pointscore races which are book-ended by the opening and closing Ladies day non-pointscore races.

The Opening Jill McLay Ladies Day race will take place on April 22, whilst the Chris Lee Closing Ladies Day race taking place on July 15. The Winter Series pointscore commences on Sunday 29 April.

The increasingly popular Ladies Pointscore Series will be contested over three races. Starting with the Opening Ladies Day, a second Ladies Day race on the Queen’s Birthday Weekend (June 10), and concluding with the Closing Ladies Day race.

In 2018, there will not be a Sydney 38 Division conducted, however the Sailing Committee will be trialling an IRC division.

This division will be limited to 12 entrants on a first come, first served basis and will include a scratch start prior to the main pursuit divisions.

Boats shall only be eligible to enter the IRC division if they have participated in other CYCA IRC events in the past 24 months.  Boats wishing to enter IRC should complete the online entry and expressions of interest form as detailed in the Notice of Race and will be accepted in order of receipt if the boat meets the above criteria.
